Established social media presence and brand voice, and increased audience engagement and followers by more than 160%
Coordinated social media planning including: post creation, editorial calendar, scheduling, community management, brand interaction, and copywriting and copy editing for Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
Headed creative development process; created and curated all original content in-house by leading photo shoot production, including shoot scheduling, ideating and creating shot lists, and detailing all necessary props and backdrops
Designed Jollity & Co’s premier wholesale product line that launched at New York NOW in August 2018; the 114 item collection includes tabletop paper products, mylar balloons, and metal headbands; headed product design process from concept ideation to design to sample testing
Researched product competitive landscapes, determined material specifics, and defined prototype measurements
Successfully run an in-house event space and execute off-site events on time and budget
What I learned
Designing products and seeing them go from ideas in Illustrator to real, tangible items is fulfilling, and knowing how to create your own prototypes (and speak a little Chinese) is really helpful
Product photography 101: lighting, reflection, diffusion, timing, backdrops, stabilizers, angles, and product styling, among things
You are your best advocate
Social media captions can’t always been puns, no matter how much you’d like that to be the case
